Who Were the Indo- European Migrants?

|
How Were They Different from Already Existing Cultures?
- The pre-existent cultures differed because the migrants were nomadic and pastoral people unlike the original residents. Aryans arrived to India around 1500 B.C.E. and started a pastoral economy consisting of cattle, sheep, horses, and other animals; the pre-existing people were primarily farmers.
- The Aryan had different skin tones/ physical features and forms of transportation (advanced because they used horses to move goods).
- There were religious distinctions as well: Aryans focused on memorization of hymns, gods of war, and morality.
- The Aryans lacked any form of government, but had chiefs and agricultural villages.
